| (Peyton Manning joined the Broncos in March, and his first year as a Bronco will not be an easy one. He faces the Steelers, Ravens, and the familiar Patriots and Texans Image Provided By: lehighvalleylive.com http://bit.ly/J01gsq) |
Manning's run as a Bronco and return to the NFL isn't going to start off easy. The Broncos kick off the season at home playing the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. The Broncos then go on the road to play the always tough Atlanta Falcons and then face the Wade Phillips led Houston Texan defense. After a divional matchup with the Raiders at home, the fans get to see the famous Manning vs. Brady matchup in Foxboro. The Broncos then travel to San Diego clear on the other coast and then get to rest on their bye week.
If the Broncos can even be .500 by the bye week, they have a decent chance of finishing with 10 wins, because the stretch after the bye has the rest of their divisional matchups, including the Chiefs twice, and New Orleans and trips to Carolina, Cincinatti, and Baltimore.
The most anticipated matchups that I am looking forward to are the Steelers, Patriots and Houston. I believe all of those games will be close matchups.
